A single crank, semi-electric Guardian bed has one hi-low adjustment hand crank. This allows you to raise or lower the entire bed to assist in transfers or reduce back strain if you are a caregiver. It also comes with a hand pendant that allows you to independently adjust the bed's head and feet. When not in use, the pendant can be snapped onto the side rails. All Guardian beds feature a split-spring design (the bed can literally be separated in half), welded steel construction, a reinforced headspring, easy-release motor mounts, and a lifetime warranty on all welds.
