Q Are any rebates or incentives available to help me with the cost of adding a vehicle lift or carrier to an automobile? A Many auto manufacturers offer rebates to individuals who qualify. See our rebates page for more information. Q What are your return policies? A Please refer to our Return Policy section for detailed information. Q Is my staircase wide enough for a stair lift? A Most staircases in the US and Canada are 30" wide or more. When in use, the stair lift seat takes up 25" of staircase width. When not in use, it takes up only 14". The track the stair lift seat rides on only takes up about 8" of width on your staircase. Q Does insurance cover stair lift purchases? A Under Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, as well as most insurance company providers, stair lifts are classified as home modifications and are not covered. In some cases, injured workers and patients on disability may be covered. For the best information on stair lift coverage, please contact your insurance company. Q Where can I find stair lift installation instructions? A Stair lift installation manuals are located on the specific stair lift's product page. Please contact us if the installation manual isn't present. Q Will you file with Medicare? A We have chosen not to be a Medicare provider, so we can not file Medicare claims for you. We will provide you with an invoice and you may file with the appropriate insurance/agency on your own behalf. Q Is shipping included? A Shipping is in included in our price for most products delivered in the continental US. Please look for "Plus Shipping" to see if a product has an additional shipping charge. For orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and other foreign countries there will be additional freight charges based on actual costs. Q Will my scooter arrive assembled? A Your scooter will arrive partially assembled except for the batteries due to shipping regulations. For an additional charge, a technician will come to your home and install the batteries for you. Q What happens when I need warranty repairs/service on my scooter? A Most of our scooters come with a warranty that varies by manufacturer. If you want to learn specific warranty details associated with an individual scooter, call today to speak with an expert. In most cases, if you need repairs and service, you will be able to simply call the service number that we provide and a technician will be scheduled to come repair your scooter.
